EcoActUs GPT
A practical guide to move from insight to action, and an invitation to join our AI experiment.
EcoActUs is stepping into the AI era with a first, usable tool designed to help people go from climate insight to real-world impact. This is an experiment in AI-moderated practices that will keep evolving with your feedback.
What It’s For
The EcoActUs GPT supports three practical starting points:
1) Personal reflection and direction
Clarify who you are becoming, what you stand for, and what you want to do — so you can make your most authentic and compelling contribution.
2) Idea development and pitching (CO-STAR)
Develop and sharpen climate solutions quickly — clear enough to share with collaborators, partners, and even funders.
3) Enterprise / community reorientation (Blueprint)
Begin thinking through how your enterprise (company, department, community initiative, school, etc.) can reorient around climate-related impacts and opportunities.
What To Expect
This experience is meant to:
-
get people started quickly
-
stir imagination
-
energize and build confidence
-
provide a simple process you can take away and deepen with others
It’s an initial building block, the real power comes from bringing outputs into EcoActUs conversations, meetups, and collaborations.
A Note On Tone: You’re In Charge
The GPT will offer suggestions, guidance, and specific questions — but it’s designed to feel like encouragement, not pressure.
You maintain agency throughout:
-
Answer in your own words (short or long — both work)
-
Change direction anytime based on your interests
-
Upload your own notes, drafts, or materials
-
Keep your authorship and ownership of the final product
What it IS (and why it’s trustworthy)
This GPT is based on close work with three distinct bodies of knowledge and is intended to widen access to that work and help users move faster through proven methods.
It has a threefold purpose:
A) Personal Climate Action Plan (Bootcamp-aligned)
The GPT converts the existing EcoActUs Climate Boot Camp action-planning materials into a guided conversation, producing a concise, repeatable summary of your thinking (a draft plan you can refine).
B) CO-STAR (sustainable business ideas)
The GPT guides you through the CO-STAR method, drawing prompts and structure from the CO-STAR process (included in its knowledge base with the authors’ permission).
C) Enterprise Development Blueprint (sustainability strategy)
The GPT guides you through the Enterprise Development Blueprint method (included with permission), helping you draft an initial strategy and implementation path.
What It Is NOT
To set healthy expectations:
-
Not a replacement for your judgment. You decide what’s right, realistic, and ethical.
-
Not a guarantee of outcomes. It helps you draft and clarify — results come from real-world action.
-
Not a “one right answer” system. Prompts are options; you choose what fits.
-
Not a substitute for community and collaboration. The best work gets tested with people.
Help Us Build The Next Iteration
We’re building an EcoActUs community of practice around AI-enabled climate action. Your feedback will shape what comes next.
We invite you to:
